BOZCAADA GATHERING
When I was nine, I met Thea in Athens, from the Savvaidou family who had migrated from Bozcaada. She wrote a note in my diary in Greek, and her mother added the Turkish translation. A year later, she came to Bozcaada and spoke Turkish, just as she had promised. Inspired by this memory, the lenticular print reveals the same text in two languages from different angles — a tribute to Bozcaada’s intertwined cultures.
